Domaine Tempier is an old-school original Provençal rosè that graced the tables of Chez Panisse back in 1970s Berkley, CA, and is still around with even greater demand than the winery could ever supply. Tempier is also one of the few rosès that gets better after a few years in the cellar and pairs well with summer foods and winter fare. The blend of 55% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, and 20% Cinsault yields a fuller medium-bodied palate of juicy red berries, citrus, tropical fruit, and a little medicinal herb. We also carry Tempier rouge.
