This Cabernet is built on a tradition of Washington legends. First, there's Horse Heaven Hills AVA in the Columbia Valley (near Oregon), where Quilceda Creek also has vineyards. And then there's the Champoux Vineyard, planted by Paul Champoux in the early 1970s, which also goes into some of the finest Washington wines. If you're looking for a contender against the best Bordeaux or Napa Cab, Andrew Will is your winery. Sorella is the Camarda family's top wine, a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot aged 22 months in 35% new French oak. Sorella is big, juicy, plush, tannic, well-balanced, and age-worthy for 20-30 years, but you can enjoy its floral, cassis, cherry, cocoa, pipe tobacco, graphite, and earth notes now.
