It's not often that reviewers fawn over a Beaujolais, but they loved Foillard's 2019 Fleurie. They describe it as charming, elegant, vibrant, alluring, concentrated, stunning, spiced, floral, smokey, sapid, and seamless. Yes, we agree. The juicy fruit is fantastic; it has enough tannin, acid, and concentration to last another ten years, but this Fleurie is entering its peak now. We have the regular size bottle of this, but, frankly, the price is better on this festive magnum.
