Morgon is located in the central Cru region where Guy Breton joins other founders of the natural wine movement Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet, and Jean Foillard, in making exceptional Beaujolais. Breton makes this Morgon from 80+-year-old vines planted on six acres in Saint Joseph and Grand Cras. With a return to the old-fashioned viticultural and vinification practices, this structured wine is ripe and floral with an earthy nose, raspberries, pomegranates, minerals, and refreshing acidity. Pair with steak frites, duck, casseroles, and sausage.
