Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts are an interesting pair: Duncan is a winemaker with years of experience in some of Cali's finest wineries, and Nathan is a cooper, a guy who builds barrels. This blend of 75% Touriga Nacional, 9% Tinta Cao, 9% Trincadeira, and 7% Grenache comes from the Amador, Clear Lake, and Lodi AVAs and sees no wood at all. The fruit is steel-fermented with native yeasts and steel-aged for just several months, allowing Portugal's national grape to shine through with savory notes of sun-baked oranges, mint, flowers, and cherries.
