According to Kermit Lynch, the 2019 vintage of La Crau is set to be a blockbuster that will be drinking beautifully in 2053. Frédéric & Daniel Brunier blended 65% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah, and 5% other permitted varietals from the prized "La Crau" vineyard with its distinct stony terroir. The wine is aged 22 months before being bottled unfiltered. Voted as one of the top 100 wines of 2022, this gem is loaded with cola, olives, plums, fruitcake, roasted cherries, raspberries, pepper, herbs, and stones. The tannins are finely balanced if you can wait until 2025.
