Jean-Claude Thévenet and his "Fils" Benjamin, Jonathan, and Aurélien always amaze us with their superb Mâconnais wine. We've been huge fans of their Mâcon-Pierreclos Blanc and now are happy to present the Blanc de Blancs Vin Mousseux de Qualité. This Mousseux (mooz-zuh) is 100% Chardonnay from the village of Serrières on the outskirts of Pierreclos, which completes both fermentations in tanks before resting in the bottle for about a year. Currently, Thevenet's Blanc de Blancs is our most affordable and exciting French sparkler that hits all the right apple, lemon, and frothy notes at an unbelievable $20. Don't hesitate to grab a case, as there are only 500 cases made for the entire world.
