Christoph Neumeister farms 74 acres of vines in Austria's southeast corner of Vulkanland Steiermark next to Slovenia and Hungary. While northern regions focus on Riesling and Gruner, here in the mountains, you will find Muskateller, Traminer, Morillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Scheurebe, Laški Rizling, Muller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, and Gris. For Gemischter Satz (mixed bunch), Neumeister takes all his hand-picked fruit and co-ferments it into the lovely, floral, fruity yet crisp Sarmat. Don't think too hard about this 12% ABV blend; just pair it with fish, brats, cheese, potatoes, or as an aperitif.
