Marcel Lapierre created Raisins Gaulois Vin de France as an accessible alternative to his legendary old-vine Morgon Beaujolais. Marcel's son Mathieu continues the tradition using hand-harvested organic Gamay from young vines, averaging 15 years. This new vintage of Raisins is pale ruby in the glass with a lively, crunchy, dry, lighter-bodied palate of fresh-crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, and currants. Serve lightly chilled with charcuterie, ham, roast chicken, halibut, cheese, Asian food, and fruit desserts. Low sulfite and unfiltered.
