White Port is a rarity state-side, especially the sweeter "Lagrima" style. Kopke's Lagrima is amber, copper, and a bit tawny, so it's incorrect to call this 3-year Malvasia-based blend "white" in the first place. The deep color portends its intense, sweet flavor of golden raisins, sun-baked figs, vanilla beans, and honey-drenched baklava. Serve chilled with desserts, dip cookies, pour over sponge cake, use a secret ingredient in French Onion soup, or add to cocktails like a pitcher of G & T+WP (White Port Gin & Tonics). Nearly 20% abv. Stays fresh in the fridge for 2-3 weeks once opened.
