Laura Brennan Bissell makes this wine with a nod to right-bank Bordeaux. Kitsune is a blend of hand-harvested Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grown in the Sierra Foothills and along the Sacramento River. The fruit is fermented with native yeast, aged in neutral French oak barrels, and bottled unfined & unfiltered in clear bottles so you can be dazzled by the lovely color before enjoying silky-textured cherry, plum, spice, and minerals. Since it's not the usual tannic blockbuster wine from California, Kitsune pairs easily with BBQ, grilled white meat & veggies, as well as burgers and steaks.
