Hailing from the Mâconnais region in the commune of Cruzille, La Belouse ("blue marl") is a steel-fermented all-natural wine that exhibits terroir and earthy fruit expression without any wood or heaviness to get in the way. The 40-year-old vineyard gives the wine everything it needs to please Burgundy lovers with raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry with limestone, bright acids, and tannic notes from stems.
