Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, Chile is the longest country in the world, spanning 2,670 miles from north to south. However, it is narrow: one can drive the country's width in a half-day at Chile's widest point of 217 miles. Most of the winemaking takes place along an 800-mile stretch in the middle of the country, but there is still a wide variety of climates and terroir to accommodate the most finicky grapes like Pinot Noir. If you're hesitant, what if we said you could get a delicious, organic, varietally correct Pinot for under $15? Cono Sur is loaded with classic cherry, raspberry, strawberry, and elegant fine tannins. Give it a chill.
