Catherine & Pierre both come from families who have been making wine around the villages of Bourgueil and Vouvray for four generations, but the couple introduced Biodynamic practices in 1994 and have been leaders in the organic community ever since. The Bretons farm 27 acres on which they produce Cabernet Franc for Chinon and Bourgueil as well as Chenin Blanc for both still and sparkling Vouvray. La Dilettante is a traditional method bone-dry sparkling Chenin at half the price of Champagne with complex honey and ripe stone fruit notes on a flinty finish.
