As one of the top crus, Prado Enea is made with the choicest fruit available. The winemakers then adhere to a low intervention model by fermenting the late-harvest grapes in large oak without added yeasts or temperature control. Subsequently, a long aging regimen begins in oak vats, followed by at least thirty-six months in new French oak casks and at least another thirty-six months in the bottle. This blend of Tempranillo, Grenache, Mazuelo (Carignan), and Graciano exhibits black fruit, spice cake, vanilla, soft tannins, currants, coffee, and blossoms. Cellar for another decade or serve now with meats, cheese, game, and stews.
