By the time Greeks established colonies in Italy, and even before Hannibal crossed the Alps, ancient grapes Aglianico, Fiano, and Falanghina were already thriving in the warm climate of southern Italy. Today, just a small amount of traditional Falanghina is exported, so we're happy to find this one from the hillsides of Guardia Sanframondi. Fermented and aged in steel, Aia Dei Colombi is medium-bodied, crisp, and minerally with floral notes on the nose, followed by citrus, almond, and green stone fruit. Pair with all types of seafood as well as chicken.
