Vermouth is fortified wine developed from a 16th-century tradition of adding Wormwood (wermut in German) to medicinal remedies. These days, the finest French and Italian vermouth comes from high-quality base wine flavored naturally with herbs, roots, and bark for that distinct flavor people appreciated hundreds of years ago. As a geographically protected vermouth, Dolin is a specialty of Savoie, France, made with wine from Armagnac and fifty alpine herbs grown above the village of Chambery. Drier than Italian vermouth, Dolin is highly aromatic with notes of red fruit, spice, tea, and a dry finish. Mix cocktails, recipes, or drink with charcuterie. 16% ABV.
