The Walcher family has lived among vineyards and orchards in South Tyrol for nine generations. In 1966, Alfons Walcher set up a pot still at the family's ancestral Turmbachhof farm and undertook the grand European tradition of brandy making. Name a fruit, herb, or nut, and you'll probably find it in their 100-product repertoire. Unlike mass-produced Amaretto, Walcher is the real thing made with premium bitter almonds, organic Madagascar vanilla beans, and Peruvian cocoa beans in a neutral spirit base. The flavor is pure, warm, toasty, lightly spiced, and not too sweet. 56 proof.
