Perhaps it is a surprise that Pinot Noir (aka Spätburgunder) is the most planted red grape in Germany and also accounts for some increasingly lovely pink wines. Florian Fauth is blessed with limestone-rich soils located south of Frankfurt, which produce crisp, sprightly, mineral-laden Pinot Noir with hints of watermelon, raspberry, peach, white pepper, and minerals. With wines like this, France has a new challenger on the Rosé front! We also carry Seehof Riesling.
