Perhaps one of the greatest Grande Marques Champagnes, Dom Perignon has been under the Moët banner since 1927, but after 1948, Perignon has functioned as a separate entity. There is never a bad vintage of DP because it's only made in the best years, and these wines are meant to last, and we mean decades. DP 2012 is a full-bodied, smoky, chalky wine with classic notes of brioche, lemon/lime/orange, toasted nuts, mint, toffee, berries, quince, and baking spice. Drink now through 2050.
