It would be easy to stock an entire shop just with Champagne. So many flavors and styles are produced in five distinct wine zones that one can never get bored of the offerings. Take Extra Brut Rosé de Meunier as an example. Most Champagne relies on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for its base wines, but here is a rare opportunity to enjoy Pinot Meunier on its own. This is a blend of macerated, unmacerated, and red-vinified Meunier aged 7 months in oak for vibrancy, freshness, and a savory vinous full-bodied palate of red flowers, baking spices, pomander orange, and ripe berries braced by a structure of tannin and acid. Try Brut Rosé de Meunier instead of red Burgundy at the dinner table, and you might never go back to Pinot Noir. Disgorged 05/2022.
