Hermann Wiemer is a winemaking pioneer in New York State. Born in the village of Bernkastel on the Mosel, Hermann discovered the optimal growing conditions for Riesling in the Finger Lakes, and in 1973, he established his winery on 140 acres of land on the west side of Lake Seneca. This hand-crafted Riesling combines Trocken and Kabinett styles with perfectly balanced residual sugar, acidity, and rich fruit. Hints of petrol and evergreen on the finish. Pair with Asian or German cuisine, poultry, and fish.
