Emilio Lustau was founded in 1896 when Sherry enjoyed enormous popularity. In the late 20th century, fortified wines became relics from another age, but the Lustau brand managed to weather the storm and keep every single style of Sherry in the public consciousness - especially in the New World. In addition to world-class Sherry and Brandy, Lustau also crafts a full line of delicious Spanish Vermouth. Vermut Rojo is a full-bodied blend of 10-year-old Amontillado and Pedro Ximenez spiked with neutral spirit and flavored with sage, gentian, coriander, wormwood, and orange peel. This sweet Vermut is nutty, smoky, woody, and pleasantly bitter over dried fruit. Drink it neat or mix in cocktails. 30 proof.
