Brigaldara Valpolicella is anything but a generic Veneto red wine. The Cesari family hand harvests the same estate fruit used in their decadent cellar-worthy Amarone. However, with just six months in steel, this youthful, light-bodied blend of Corvinone, Corvina, and Rondinella has moderate alcohol levels and drinks well year-round. Light ruby red with notes of currant, raspberry, cherry, and violets on a juicy palate cut with bright acidity. Pair with pasta, tomato sauce, pizza, salumi, and eggplant rollatini.
