The Alary family has been in the village of Cairanne since 1692, making incredible wine on an estate that has bloomed to 71 acres of garrigue, loam, and pebbles. The fruit for "La Grange Daniel" comes from a nearby district called Orange. It's a blend of 90% Roussanne and 10% Picpoul, two varietals commonly found in Côtes du Rhône Blanc and Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc, but this wine is far lighter on its feet with expressive note of flowers, honey, pears, apricot, and almond supported by snappy acidity thanks to Picpoul.
