Roku uses eight traditional gin botanicals with six Japanese botanicals. The Japanese botanicals - Sakura leaf, Sakura flower, Yuzu peel, Sencha tea, Gyokuro tea, and Sansho pepper - are harvested in accordance with "shun," the Japanese tradition of enjoying each ingredient at its best by only harvesting at its peak. This is a challenging gin to mix. It does best neat, on the rocks or in simple Martinis. For those who like complex, botanical gins.
