The botanicals sourced within the Mediterranean, in addition to the traditional juniper, bitter orange peel, seville orangepeel, lemon peel, cardamon, and coriander seed, are Arbequina olives, basil from Italy, rosemary from Turkey, and thyme from Greece. All the botanicals except the citrus are macerated individually for 24-36 hours before being distilled in a copper pot still.
