Currently, there are only two geographically protected vermouths in the world: Chambery from Savoie, France, and Torino from Piedmont, Italy. 'Storico' Vermouth di Torino is a revived family recipe from 1891 which Cocchi built on a base of Moscato wine and a proprietary blend of natural botanicals, citrus, and herbs, yielding a red aromatized wine of balanced bittersweetness with notes of red grapefruit, cocoa, ginger, licorice, and rhubarb. You will never think of sweet vermouth the same way. Drink neat, on the rocks with a slice of orange, in a Spritz, or Manhattans and Negronis. 16% ABV.
