Situated on the River Bladnoch, the Bladnoch distillery is one of six remaining in the Scottish Lowlands, and it is going strong after 200 years. It was founded and operated by the McClelland family, but by WWI, the distillery would change hands several times until Aussie yogurt magnate David Prior purchased and renovated the mothballed distillery. In 2019, former Master Distiller at The Macallan, Dr. Nick Savage, joined the team to create a slew of single-barrel and age-designated editions. We are thrilled to offer several of his finest non-chill filtered/natural color whiskies.
Bladnoch 11 Year shows maturity and depth with notes of malt, wood-soaked dried fruit, smokey incense, honey cake, savory sherry notes, toffee, and a distinct sugar-cane profile. Also 93.4 proof, the 11-Year makes a fantastic gift for dark rum and bourbon drinkers.
