Aperol was already famous, but now everyone knows about it after the second season of White Lotus on HBO. If you watched it, you might have noticed the characters drinking Aperol Spritz in nearly every scene. What else is there to do at a luxurious Sicilian resort? At a moderate 11% ABV, Aperol is full of sweet orange, chewy rhubarb, and bitter gentian flavors. Leave out the Prosecco and add it to sparkling water for a low-alcohol summer quaffer. Also suitable for lighter Negronis.
